Since reports slipped out that the President had called Kanye West a “Jackass” for his actions at the VMA’s Sunday evening, people from all over the political spectrum have shared their opinion on the matter. Most from the Right have jumped on this opportunity to take shots at the President and criticize him for being “unpresidential.” Those of my conservative brethren who have taken this position… You are a bunch of nerds!!
ABC’s Terry Moran set the Twitter-sphere all aflutter when he wrote:
We’ve reached out to Moran and will update this post when we learn more.
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:
“In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.”
The White House had no immediate comment.

This was off the record and we loved these outbursts from GW. It was one of his most endearing qualities. In fact, this is the first thing that Obama has done in weeks that I have actually felt like applauding him for. Cut the dude some slack – on this issue. Kanye is a Jackass. We agree with the man for once. Let him have that much.

Tisha I have to tell you that I appreciate you reading two of my postings. Im sure it was painful for you.
I do not “hate people of color.” In fact, I have to tell you, that sort of vernacular may be a bit outdated. I thought we were moving into a “post-racial” era where we were past these things but I guess we are not.
To answer your question as quickly as I possibly can, lets put it this way. I think in terms of logical and nonsensical or intelligent and ignorant. I dont really waste my time with black and white and I am deeply sorry that you still do.
You might get some problems with the Obama`s comment about Kanye West.
