Appearing on ABC’s This Week With George Stephanopoulos, Arizona Senator John McCain had much to say about his positions on Guantanamo, Afghanistan, and a host of issues. He reiterated his campaign stumping point that he would like to see the detention facility closed as soon as possible citing the image that it has in the global community. He aslo addresses the deployment of additional troops to Afghanistan as well as a the pressure that the President is facing from those on the Left who oppose the surge.
