They have finally released the cover so that we will know where to run to when the stores open their doors.  OH man I can’t wait….  Just glad to see there’s not a photo of her wearing eye-black or holding a hockey stick with a little bulldog trailing in the background.

Tuesday September 29, 2009

You all know what a fan of Sarah Palin I am, so you must know that I have been eagerly awaiting the release of her memoirs.  I plan to camp outside the nearest Borders and dawn my most Palin-friendly attire – yes, I may even wear some questionably fashionable glasses to increase my Palin IQ.

Well the day is set.  The AP is reporting that “Going Rogue: An American Life” will be released November 17th.  So set your calendars and join me to buy the next “conservative” best seller that I’m sure she wrote all of three pages of.  The book is set to outline her political career and provide insights into the “behind the scenes” relationships on the “McCain for President” campaign trail.

I am absolutely convinced that this book will be as mind-numbing as it is to listen to her speak, but I will buy a copy in the interest of continuing to frustrate the literary publishing world with conservative titles moving to the top of the best seller’s list.  What I will do with it after the purchase is yet to be determined….

You’re going to buy it and you’re going to love it> You Know why?> Bc youre a American optimist and she is too. You may have your ideological differences but you are cut from the same cloth.

I am optimistic that it will go to number one. End of story

Why cant you cut Palin some slak? She was abused on the campaign trail unfairly by the Left and by feminists threatend by her. SHe is good for the party. YOu need to give her a chance. She will be your candidate in 3 years so you better warm up to her.

I have been hearing a lot about her not writing this book. Is that really the case? They said it was 400 pages. When did she have the time to write it with all her travels and quitting her office?

    • T. CHRISTOPHER on September 29, 2009 at 12:13 pm

She has a “ghost writer” so she has been working with someone else but she reportedly has done the majority of it herself. As far as the timeline… well as someone who has done a lot of writing, it comes pretty quick if you know what youre talking about. That may be her hang up!!

Dude. I know you arent smacking Palin. She is the future man. Republicans on the Hill now are the past. We need a new face. I will buy this book and put it on my coffee table.

    • T. CHRISTOPHER on September 29, 2009 at 12:14 pm

We do need a new face. Ill give you that. Its just not her. Even you said you will buy it; and put it on your coffee table. You didnt say youd read it!!

I have to tell you that you are off on this one. I am looking forward to seeing what she has to say. McCain used her and spit her out. Im glad she has a life after that run. She will be our candidate in 2012 and she will win.

Im with you T. I appreciate what she has accomplished going from a ‘hockey mom’ to governor, but that doesn’t mean that she is the only smart/successful/attractive woman on the planet. I am shocked to hear a man articulate that point – at least I assume T. Christopher is man – not a first and last name- it is refreshing. You’re mother/wife should be proud.

You are a hater. Dont chop at Palin bc shes making some money!

  9. JLewis on October 2, 2009 at 11:00 am
