Would the Founding Fathers Recognize Today’s America?

Former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich discusses the current political climate in Washington and the state of the United States more than 200 years after the founding of this great nation.  They also discuss the release of To Try Men’s Souls by Newt Gingrich and William R. Forstchen which outlines the authors’ interpretations of how our Founding Fathers would view the nation that they created.

Newt concludes the conversation by telling Americans not to fear the healthcare proposals from the Left, but to prepare themselves to rise up against the people who will institute it and undo that which will be done.  I get quite a kick out of listening to Newt and look forward to reading this book.

Query what he / they would have to say about cap and trade / card check / abortion or the host of other issues that District 23’s candidate, whom he is backing, supports??

Here we go again with another reference to a race that isnt a race. Let the issue go away. It is doing the party no service to continue with it all.

Was the book even discussed in this clip? Is this another ‘conservative’ book we are supposed to read because they put a picture of a Founding father on the cover?
