Fred Thompson may be the coolest politician in the history of politicians and is without a doubt the greatest campaign ad guy in the history of American politics. Okay. Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones are pretty great too but they are always endorsing someone on the other side. If only Fred could have been as effective as a Presidential candidate… Anyways, here is a recent ad that he did for Doug Hoffman’s campaign for Congress.

Pardon me for making light of politics from time to time. Fred was a lousy Presidential candidate but he’s one hell of a pitch man for anything and everything political. I could listen to him all day long. If only he could have had the motivation to stage a real campaign last year, I might have had that opportunity. Lighten up sophie. Every post here is not meant to be earth shattering and life changing.
