Al Gore: Still Not a Vegetarian
Captain Environmental Al Gore still eats meat!
You might ask, who cares? Well no one actually; or at least no one that actually matters, but to the flaming super-libs of the world this is a pretty big deal. For the self-described leader of all things environmental, this is actually a major faux pas. It is hard to be the protector of all things natural when still chomping down on the biproduct of another living thing sacrificed for your Value Meal. It is even harder to be the protector of the entire planet as Captain Environmental to still engage in contributing to an industry that is the largest contributor to Greenhouse gases on the planet. Oh yes, we are talking about the lovely topic of bovine gases.
I will leave the details of this debate for another site, and simply suggest that you do some further reading if you are totally lost here. I for one enjoy my daily intake of red meat, so I have no intentions of discussing that side of the matter any further.
Last night, the Glenn Beck Program on the Fox News Channel went head first into the issue with the Founder and President of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk. She took Gore to task for his efforts to put on the false environmental facade while still polluting and destroying the environment with the rest of us heathens. Have a listen.
