President Obama Applauds House Healthcare Bill

From the Rose Garden Sunday, President Obama applauded the “Bipartisan” effort in the House House Democrats for the passing of Pelosi-Obamacare Saturday evening with a 220-215 vote.  He called it “historic” and said it represented encouraging progress for the future of our country.  He said the Affordable Healthcare for America Act will provide stability for millions of Americans who have insurance, quality affordable options for those who don’t, and bring down the costs of healthcare for families, business, and the government.  He said the actions of many in Congress were “courageous.”  Here is the video.  He also congratulates the Iraqi people for the nation’s Parliament drafting legislation to move toward elections next year.
