911 Terrorists to Plead Not Guilty

911 terror

It should come as no surprise to anyone with half a brain, but the five men “scheduled” to come to trial in Lower Manhattan for the attacks of September 11,  2001 will reportedly plead not guilty.  To make the matter worse, an attorney for one of the men is saying that they intend to tell their story and why they did what they did.  Translation=they are going to use the trial to rant about their political/ religious philosophies and use the bully pulpit of the federal court system to incite animosity and violence toward the United States.  Sounds awesome right?  That’s what Due Process is all about right?  I have no doubt that our brilliant Attorney General, Eric Holder will have something to say about the matter today, and I am sure that his remarks will likely add to the list of procedural techinicalities which the defense will attempt to use in these trials to have the case dismissed even before the merits are addressed.

Fox News:

Scott Fenstermaker, the lawyer for accused terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, said the men would not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but “would explain what happened and why they did it.”
