Rush Limbaugh has reportedly been rushed to a Hawaiian hospital with chest pains according to CBS news. He was vacationing in the islands with his family. I will update as more information is revealed. CNN has just reported that paramedics were called because he was complaining of chest pains and is in “serious condition” at the moment. As reports continue to roll in, all regardless of their political affiliation should say a prayer tonight for Rush Limbaugh.
According to KITV, paramedics responded to a call at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu at 2:41 PM and transported Rush to Queens Medical Center.
According to the report, Rush was in “serious condition” when he arrived to the hospital.
Attempts to reach a rep for Limbaugh were unsuccessful.
UPDATE: TMZ has confirmed paramedics did respond to the Kahala at 2:41 to attend to someone with “chest discomfort.”
Paramedics were called to the Kahala Hotel and Resort where Limbaugh is vacationing. KITV reports that “paramedics treated him and took him to Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.”
The Queen’s Medical Center spokeswoman, N. Makana Shooktold, the AP that the hospital is unable to comment on the report
Limbaugh had been scheduled to return to his talk show Jan. 4 but a spokesman told ABC News that it is unclear whether he will be back by then.
Paramedics arrived at the Kahala Hotel and Resort at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday and found Limbaugh, 58, sitting in a chair in his ninth-floor hotel room, according to ABC’s Honolulu affiliate KITV.
