Right Wing News:  The Whited Sepulchre, That’s Right, Robalution, and the Daily Caller

Those who spend their days and nights with their ears to the ground in search of news worthy political content probably knew that Tucker Carlson has had a new conservative site in the works for some time now.  For those of you that didn’t – hey, did you know that Tucker Carlson has a new right-wing website?  Okay, so we’re all on the same page now.  I generally wouldn’t think that such a development is a newsworthy story – but I have two reasons for characterizing it as such today.  The first being that fellow blogger – Robert Laurie, aka Rob at The Robalution, posted his first “opinion” piece there today as a “contributor” to the Daily Caller.  Facing a Choice about Fascism.

Here’s a link to the article at his site if you really have  a thing for redundancy.

The Daily Caller is the name of Tucker Carlson’s website – just in case I left you wondering back there.  You should definitely check out his post and give his website a look as well.  He’s a fellow right-winger and certainly worth a read.  I just checked out his first article and the libs were already out in full force taking potshots at the new Right propagandists.  The second reason that I am taking the time to share this little story with you is that my boy over at That’s Right already prepared a brief synopsis of The Daily Caller so essentially, I don’t have to do any work.  Check out his take on the new right-wing forum.

Tucker Carlson’s ‘Conservative/Libertarian answer to HuffPo debuted on Monday. Here’s a real quick review:

  1. By far the best thing going over there is and will be that Jim Treacher is writing the blog. They call it the “DC Trawler” and early returns indicate that it’ll be as funny and well-written as Treacher’s own blog. Good luck Treach…make us proud.
  2. The layout is visually appealing; it’s not too cluttered but has a wonderful array of content, all of which is easily accessible and navigable.
  3. S.E. Cupp is hot and she writes over there too. Note to Ms. Cupp: I drink Whiskey because that’s what I drink too. And I’m a lawyer. How ‘bout we bust up some stereotypes you have and polish off a fifth of Wild Turkey together. We can talk about deer-hunting, Warmongering and Housatonic Trout ‘til the flatulent cows come home. Call me!see more here

See more here….

While you’re over there, I’d suggest taking a look at a couple of these posts as well.  Let’s just say they might appeal to a few different regions of your “political” mind.

THE WHITED SEPULCHRE

And just because I like to give a shout out to all my favorite bloggers from time to time.  Be sure to check out this one at The Whited Sepulchre – aka the first site to throw me a decent link.  He calls me the “Busiest guy on the Internet.”  I call him the dude that kept me from quitting this nonsense a while back.  He’s quite a good read as well – even if I am a admittedly biased -especially if a good Libertarian tilt is your thing.  Check a few of these out.

Yeah I moved to Meridian right after I left Roanoke and only a year after I headed out from Trenton. Thinking about checking out Provo next. I hear its great in the Spring.

  4. This is certainly my initial stop by and I really like what I’m seeing. Your weblog is so much fun to look over, quite compelling as well as informative. I’ll undoubtedly recommend it to my friends. Nevertheless, I did have some problem with the commenting. It kept giving me an problem whenever I clicked on publish comment. I hope, that can be fixed. Many thanks
