They both balked at minor changes in their work rules, and they both got fired en masse for their recalcitrance. Cranial-rectal syndrome is endemic in teachers unions. None more so it seems than the unionized teachers in Central Falls, Rhode Island. The Superintendent is trying to fix an abysmally bad school system. She asked the teachers to work 25 more minutes per day, eat lunch with students once a week, and help with tutoring.

I love me some Mellencamp, especially the later stuff. His Life, Death, Love and Freedom is in the CD changer of the Blackened Whitedmobile at this very moment.

What stands out in this article about the Democrat’s alleged prostitute/girlfriend, is that she was reportedly arrested AFTER performing a sex act on an undercover cop.
Sarah Palin on the anniversary of the stimulus – Another Black Conservative
Sarah Palin published a new Facebook note today. She recounts the many failures of the Stimulus boondoggle. What is very interesting is that she offers an endorsement to Sean Duffy as well as plugs his money bomb. Sean Duffy would be running against Democrat David Obey who is the ranking member of the Appropriation Committee.
