It’s sad to see what the Washington Beltway does to a person. Among other things like destroying a person’s ability to apply common sense instead of political calculation, it evidently ruins one’s eyesight. McCain was unable to see what most of us saw at the time and what he failed to see as a result is that he was throwing away the presidency by supporting the TARP instead of defying and opposing it.
