Keith Olbermann Sheds Light on Nashville Catastrophe: How Much Do I Hate/Love This?

May 4, 2010
By

For anyone that has ever read anything at my site, you certainly know that I think MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann is about a step away from the Anti-Christ with every breath – the only thing selling him short is his lack of audience and his general indifference for anything without an “I Hate Republicans” twist.  That said, I have to commend Mr. Olbermann.  While much of the national news media has all but ignored the tragedy unfolding in Nashville and surrounding areas, he took a moment to shed light on the disaster and nearly cast the situation in its true light for what it is – forgotten because of a pending disaster in the Gulf and a tragedy averted in New York.

Again, for any of you that have ever visited this site before, you know I am “”"”tough on terror”"”" and you know that I have sympathies for the Gulf region.  Hell, even as a die-hard admitted Right-Winger, I even have a “green streak” that haunts my every waking moment.  That said, while I firmly believe that both of the aforementioned stories deserve great attention from any and all media, I am truly shocked by the lack of coverage of the human tragedy here in Tennessee.  I am ashamed of reliable news outlets, news sources, and even political commentators for their lack of coverage of the issue and will forever remember the stories that they thought more important to cover today.

As much as it pains me… thank you Keith Olbermann.  Sincerely.

Visit this site for more beautifully taken yet sad and horrific pictures of the devastation.

Its unfortunate, but there are a growing list of folks moving into the hated column for their selective reporting the last few days.

    Dude that had to hurt.

Killed me man. Killed me. Hurt even more two days later when Rush, Hannity, and Beck tried to jump on the bandwagon after Anderson Cooper had set up shop down here for two days and Captain D-Bag had been reporting on it for three. Lost a lot of respect for some good folks and had to take my medicine thanking Olber-whats-his-face
