World Cup Commercials 2010

June 9, 2010
By

Kaka, Rooney, Drogba, Ronaldo, Cannavaro, and Ronaldinho (woops Brazil left him out) are featured in Nike’s Write the Future ad that the company claims is its “best ever.” Adidas tapped Snoop Dog and DJ Neil Armstrong for a Star Wars ad featuring David Beckham and a host of legends. Then there’s just a few randoms generated by the international community and of course one with U-2 screaming in the background.

David Beckham, Snoop Dogg, Franz Beckenbauer, Noel Gallagher, Ian Brown, Ciara, Jay Baruchel, and DJ Neil Armstrong with some Star Wars action by Adidas

Pepsi Commercial with Kaka, Henry, Lampard, Messi, Drogba, and Arshavin

Not a World Cup Commercial but still pretty awesome

I love the World Cup coverage. There aren’t that many American sites giving it its due. Great to see.

Thanks Henry. Largely a political site here but I’m a huge soccer fan so I can’t resist the temptation with the Cup around the corner.

Someone please stop the horns! I tried to give the World Cup a chance, but I’d even turn off the Superbowl if there was the same annoying background noise.

I can’t believe France lost. That was so fast. I guess I just expected that they had a good shot to do well in this years world cup. Maybe in four years. Maybe its time to jump on the Argentina bandwagon. Looks like Demichelis has already scored. Go Argentina. To make me feel better from that devistating loss by France, I have been watching some funny jokes.. This one made me feel a little better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3j7uSbccSc
