The Republican-controlled House of Representatives has just passed Representative Paul Ryan’s Path to Prosperity 2012 Budget Proposal (PDF Here) (Legislation here). The final vote came in 235-193. To say this thing was “partisan” is putting it rather lightly. No Dems voted for the measure; and only four Republicans jumped ship. The bill now moves to the Senate where it will no doubt encounter much opposition.
