Ed Schultz Calls Laura Ingraham a “Right-Wing Talk Slut”: M R Fightin Words Folks

Ed Schultz Laura Ingraham Right Wing Talk SlutNot that anyone should be surprised by ANYTHING that comes from the mouth of Lefty hate-monger Ed Schultz, but this one should certainly be raising a few eyebrows.  On his radio program, Ed Schultz blasted conservative talker Laura Ingraham for her criticisms of Barack Obama’s trip to England and her remarks that he should be in Joplin, Missouri and not drinking Guinness in a pub.

Fair point points; fair game, right?  Well of course it is.  How many RepubliConservatives have defended George W. Bush over the years for not making the trip to Louisiana sooner post-Katrina?  Far too many to list here. A President simply cannot be in a two places at once; and his presence can complicate matters on the ground even further because of safeguards that must be taken for his safety.  And… how many out there would have said the President was just playing politics by abandoning our oldest ally for a chance to stay and make a photo-op appearance to boost his reelection?

My point here is this… The back-and-forth began as nothing more than a purely political conversation.  Ingraham was doing her job by raising the point, and Schultz was doing his by reacting to her comments.

But then the dude just lost it.  I mean Ed Schultz is borderline bat shit crazy, but this was completely out of Left field.

Rain, thunderstorms, winds getting whipped into tornadoes of horrific proportions. Hot weather, all of this stuff. And what are the Republicans thinking about? They’re not thinking about their next-door neighbor. They’re just thinking about how much this is going to cost. President Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Missouri, on Sunday. But you know what they’re talking about? Like this right-wing slut, what’s her name, Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she’s a talk slut. You see, she was, back in the day, praising President Reagan when he was drinking a beer overseas. But now that Obama’s doing it, they’re working him over.

“Right-Wing Slut… Talk Slut?” – Really?

Everyone’s entitled to Free Speech in this country – sick and perverse, ignorant and otherwise; but em r fighting words folks

From Michelle Malkin:

In January, I published “The progressive ‘climate of hate:’ An illustrated primer, 2000-2010.”

Review it here.

Part IV was a section on anti-conservative female hate, with tons of links on the sexist rhetoric of the Left.

You’ll recall that the “M” in MSNBC stands for misogyny.

RS McCain raises a very good point… Actually, a couple of them…

If anyone at Fox News — Bill O’Reilly or Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck — had used such a word in talking about Andrea Mitchell or Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz would be screaming about “right-wing hate,” and the story would be a front-page item at HuffPo with a half-dozen feminist bloggers commenting. But Laura Ingraham is a conservative, and so the feminist reaction . . .

What’s that, ladies? You’ll have to speak up. I can’t hear you because of the noise from all these chirping crickets.

Radio Equalizer Says some goodbyes:

We’ll especially miss your gigantic ego, unending rage and all-around delightful personality. Will Comcast tolerate this kind of behavior from one of its cable hosts, particularly on top of so many past antics?

Political correctness has become disgusting to me. If someone said something off the cuff, I really could care less. If they guy said he was wrong and apologized at least he took responsibility for his words. I have yet to hear any of the conservative crowd apologize for any the the false accusations they have made. Outright lies about others are just as harmful. Being called a name is the least a woman has to worry about!!!

Let’s slow down for a minute Vrina. I am anything but PC. In fact, this site is probably just the opposite of that. That said, Ed Schultz is the one that plays PC police. The only reason this story had half the legs it had is because he’s the one that has made a career of twisting words and spinning them as either racist, sexist, or intolerant. Just three weeks ago, he proudly ranted about how the R in Republican stood for racist – because of some tenuous connection to Donald Trump that the rest of us never got a vote on.

Vrina, I do appreciate your comment. I’m not sure if you posted it before Schultz’s apology aired or not, but when I wrote this he had not. It did not come until 10pm this evening. Before that, he was silent. Accordingly, he had not taken responsibility for his words.

That said, he did apologize and I consider the matter closed, but I am certain that is not up to me. Would my reaction have been different if this were not Schultz? Absolutely. I defended Rahm Emanuel for using the word “retard” when Sarah Palin was up in arms about it. I’ve defended countless others who fell victim to the word police. This was different, because Schultz is the one typically playing judge, jury, and executioner in matters such as this.

Just out of curiosity though, I would love for you to give me some background on what or who it is you were talking about when you said this – “I have yet to hear any of the conservative crowd apologize for any the the false accusations they have made. Outright lies about others are just as harmful.” Let me know who they are and what they have said or done and I will write a column giving them equal treatment as I gave Schultz.

      Thank you for your time.

Schultz is a hate-filled pompous windbag. Nice to see him grovel for his pitiful job at MSNBC.

Until a short time ago, I tried to sample all the programs.
After watching Schultz spend two weeks blaming Palin and the Tea Party for the Giffords shooting, I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was surprised that he was able to stay on the air. Now I’m amazed.

Well, we can certainly offer congratulations to Rush Limbaugh
the absolute master of the universe when it comes to hate
talk and the divide and conquer dialogue who was hired by the
corporate elite of the planet to run a protection racket for
big business and the cadre of soulless zombies that he ulti-
mately inspired to wage war against anyone even a micron to
the left of extreme right for hypnotically inducing their
minions that suck up their message of malignant filth and
destroying their ability to reason. Obviously, through in-
duced amnesia, nobody on the far right remembers Newt
Gingrich’s word list that used every form of despicable
trash imaginable to describe lefties and the warm and
fuzzy crap for the righties that he put together back in
the 90′s or how people were arrested at Bush rallies who
wore shirts with anti-Bush slogans or even auto bumper
stickers. I saw clearly back then that free speech only
applied to the far right and anyone left of that extremist
ideology had to apologize, genuflect and beg forgiveness
for anything the right deemed offensive.Through the most
rigid forms of thought control, hypnosis and extreme con-
ditioning in authoritarian and social domineering dogma the
right-wing in this pathocratic madhouse called America
(which is no more United than a scattered jig-saw puzzle)
can only see the other side as being hate-mongers when all they’re doing is throwing a little of their own venomous
filth back at them. From time to time I hear conservatives
call liberalism a mental disorder. I find that very strange
coming from an ideology that considers everything backwards
and upside down. I’ve never in my life seen such a complete
disconnect from reality, disassociation with facts and
knowledge, complete disregard for all that’s meaningful and
sacred to humanity or the true meaning of unity or brother-
hood. The extreme right has utterly destroyed the United
States of America and everything that once made it the
greatest nation on earth. Anyone who still refers to it as the U.S.A. is simply paying homage to a corpse. One thing
is certain, paybacks are a bitch. The law of karma is exact
and prodigious. “Whatsoever a man soweth, Therefore shall
he reap” and “what goes around, comes around”. When that
Invisible Whip snaps there will certainly be a reckoning
the likes of which you don’t even want to imagine. So all
you right-wing hate-filled destroyers of truth and devotees
to fiction, lies, distortions, polarization of America and
adulation of quasi-satanic rites, enjoy it while you can.
They say “Nature abhors a vacuum” well it also abhors ex-
treme imbalance and as sure as there is a Grand Canyon in
Arizona (another state of right-wing hate),there will surely be a balance in the scales of political partisanship.
