Mitt Romney Sends Leftover Pizza to Obama Re-Election Headquarters in Chicago

May 27, 2011
By

Gino's East Delivery Best Romney news to date…?

Not even close…  I not only applaud this; but I salute this, enthusiastically.  Well played.

The Romney camp was in Chicago doing a little fundraising Thursday – a little this, a little that, and one final stop by Gino’s East for some deep dish with local business owners before calling it a night.  And could there be a better way to reward staffers for a long day on the campaign trail than some hearty deep dish pizza served up in the heart of the windy city?

Well it seems that the Romney camp must have left their appetites back in Beantown; because they had some “leftovers” on their hands.  Starving children and all… And not wanting the pizza to go to waste, Romney decided to send the leftovers to Obama Re-election Headquarters.

H/T Memeorandum:

Great deep dish at @. Sending the extra slices to @ and his Chicago HQ team http://twitpic.com/52v65c

Gino’s East is my favorite pizza place in Chicago. Then again, I was never able to get a seat at Pizzeria Uno or Dua – lines were too long.

Romney’s got gumption. I still think he’s the best guy for the job in the current field with Pawlenty as a close second. I wish we had better choices, but we reap what we sow.

An important Supreme Court decision just went against us 5-4, and another one was for us 5-3 (Kagan recusing herself). Two more pieces of evidence that the Supreme Court is the supreme battle ground for 2012. No other issue matters more. There’s no sense passing laws if the Supremes are going to overturn them.

A small county judge and an appeals court just overturned Governor Walker’s collective bargaining measure in Wisconsin. If people didn’t think courts were important, they should now know better.
