Continuing with the effort of bringing the world’s game to the most patriotic crowd of Americans one could possibly find… just wanted to share a few games times for those wishing to partake.  US versus Panama II is set for Wednesday at 6PM CT/ 7PM ET. Part I went the way of the Panamanians; and the US side will be looking to settle the score by bouncing Team Panama in the Gold Cup Semi-Finals.

Big questions await Head Coach Bob Bradley.  He used American star Landon Donovan off the bench in the quarterfinal match with Jamaica – because of travel issues – and the side flourished with the insertion of new legs.  I’ve been pulling for Donovan to evolve into a 70th minute sub for some time now; and I’d be more than pleased to see the Jamaica move become a permanent one.

Clint Dempsey finally found the back of the net and is due for a monster game with the chances he’s been creating in front of goal.  Expect big things from Mr. Dempsey.

Jozy Altidore, who left the quarterfinal game due to injury, underwent a hamstring scan Tuesday and Bradley said he’d reevaluate once the extent of the injury was known.

From Tribal Football:

“We will have an update on Jozy later. He’s played well thus far in this tournament and hopefully he’ll still be available for us,’’ said Bradley.

“We’ve had different guys come through for us so far. Everybody is needed in this kind of tournament.

“This is a tough tournament in terms of the games and how fast they come and the travel. We keep talking to the players that aren’t getting minutes and making sure that we are still training these guys and pushing them hard because they are all going to need to be ready.”

From US Soccer:

Panama played the role of spoiler in group play, handing the U.S. Men’s National Team its first-ever loss in that stage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup with a 2-1 victory on June 11 in Tampa, Fla. Just 11 days later, the two sides meet again with the U.S. looking to speak last with a semifinal victory that would mark the fourth straight time that the U.S. would eliminate Panama from the Gold Cup’s knockout round. The U.S. is also eyeing an unprecedented fourth-straight appearance in the final and can get to the Rose Bowl with a victory at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET live on FOX Soccer, Univision, CONCACAF.com and Univision.com, with the winner traveling to Pasadena, Calif., to face the winner of Mexico against Honduras. Fans can follow the action with updates from ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter @ussoccer.

The US U-17 National Team knocked off the Czech Republic 3-0 on Sunday in World Cup Action and will play Uzbekistan on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.  The game will air on Galavision/ESPN3 (live) ESPNU (delay).

Mexico will play Honduras in the other Semi-Final at 10PM ET and will air on Univision domestically.
