“If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
Talk about throwing the Lefties a softball! At an NRA convention, no less.
He accused the government of “wiping its ass with the Constitution you’re living under a rock some place” and labeled members of the Obama administration, including the vice president, attorney general and secretary of state “criminals.”
“We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Am I, any questions?” Nugent said.
In addition to recruiting those voters, Nugent said that winning required them to “ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November.”
The tie-in to the NRA, Nugent said, was the Supreme Court’s liberal members’ supposed infringement on self-defense.
“We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution,” Nugent said. “Does everyone here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense.”
Nugent endorsed Romney, somewhat tepidly, with a Twitter announcement back in March.
“After a long heart&soul conversation with Mitt Romney today I concluded this goodman will properly represent we the people & I endorsed him,” he wrote — though he really was more of a fan of Rick Perry.

I don’t see Nugent’s comments as a threat, but, as a persecution complex enabler: one of many things that may eventually come together in someone’s paranoid mind and cause them to load up their weapons and attack innocent people on the left.
Agree and disagree. On the disagreement, I do believe a “persecution complex enabler” could make that argument for just about anything pointed that is said on a daily basis in politics. If we begin persecuting or prosecuting people for what we perceive to be potential consequences of their states views, wouldn’t that lead us down a never-ending road?
Why wait? Lock him up now.
