Barack Hussein Obama was sworn-in as President of the United States for the second (third) time Sunday morning just before noon by Chief Justice Roberts at the White House. You might remember, four years ago Roberts flubbed the Oath which led to a second swearing-in after the public ceremony had concluded. So, technically, this was his third crack at it; and tomorrow he’ll get his fourth. Let’s hope practice makes perfect… and makes him appreciate the words of said Oath.
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Extra emphasis on the last part there that mentions the Constitution would be appreciated.
